Job Description

In order to support its development in Belgium, The Biotech Quality Group is looking for a talented Business Manager.

This entrepreneurial position combines specific sales & business development capabilities together with biopharma and medical devices industry knowledge.

As a Business Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Identifying new clients & business opportunities within the Belgian Life Science industry for technical and management consulting projects.
  • Manage client relationships, answer client’s request for information/proposals,
  • Build proposals with our senior consultants to answer client’s requests for time & material projects.
  • Liaise with the International Business Development Director, Head of Operations & Head of Apollo to identify and plan the appropriate resources to support the client’s requests.

For high potential candidates with previous experience and the right appetite, you will quickly be able to:

  • Build-up your own business unit within The Biotech Quality Group,
  • Adapt services and solutions based on specific market demand,
  • Recruit and manage a team of consultants (civil and bio-engineers, industrial pharmacists, scientists...),
  • Ensure that both project planning and deliverables meet BQG client’s highest expectations;
  • Manage full P&L and ensure reporting to BQG’s Board.

Profile

We are looking for a talented person with previous experience in B2B (Business-to-Business) business development, from cold calling to building commercial proposals in highly technical environments, with:

  • Ability to establish trustful relationships with key players in the Belgian market,
  • Leadership skills, business drive and acumen, while humble and dynamic.
  • A structured/logical/straight forward approach with all business stakeholders,
  • Flexibility, adaptation, anticipation and capacity to push for change.
  • Language skills: French/English OR Dutch/English are mandatory.

Ideally, the candidate will also have:

  • A Master's degree,
  • A strong interest or knowledge of the Life sciences industry
  • People management abilities,
  • Passion for business growth and people development

The Biotech Quality Group (BQG) advises Biotechnology, Pharmaceuticals and MedTech European clients in their Operational, Engineering & Quality Assurance strategy and daily organization. With a HQ in Brussels, and offices in Gent (BE) and Neuchâtel (CH), BQG works with the key players of the life science industry, as well as the next generation industry stakeholders.

BQG founders have been involved over the last ten years in the Life Science industry. They witnessed the paradigm shift, which is heavily impacting the industry since early 2000. The BIOTECH QUALITY GROUP (BQG) is a consulting company specialized in Quality assurance and in Quality Systems improvement focused on pharmaceutical and biotechnical industries. Our company, created in 2011, is active in Belgium, Switzerland, France and Ireland.

As part of our team reinforcement in Switzerland, we would like to recruit an administrative assistant for a part-time employee contract.

Job Description

  1. Various administrations : welcoming visitors, mails handling, meeting rooms reservation, travelling management (planes, trains, hotel, restaurants,...), Management and backup of all documents on our IT platform, holidays application handling (reception and following), etc.
  2. Customers billing: Signed customer timesheets handling (monthly), Creation and sending of customers invoices, schedule publishing and updating, invoices relaying to the fiduciary, etc.
  3. Active collaboration with our fiduciary : transmission and communication of all useful information to the office (Validated BQG timesheets,salary changes,checked and validated expenses reports, verified supplier invoices to pay, etc.).
  4. Employment contracts: document preparation, administrative file constitution, registration with Switzerland authorities and insurances.
  5. Declaration to the Switzerland organization for detached workers

Required skills

◆    Experience of 2-3 years in a similar function is an asset.
◆    High proficiency in French and English (oral and written).
◆    German knowledge is an asset.
◆    Intensive knowledge of windows office softwares (an IT test will be organized).
◆    To be comfortable with numbers.
◆    Autonomy and sense of initiative.
◆    Organized and strong communication skills.
◆    To be able to work with a multiple and decentralized hierarchy (Switzerland and Belgium).
◆    Strong knowledge of Switzerland laws.

Uw verantwoordelijkheden

In een dagelijkse samenwerking met managers en partners, zal je betrokken worden bij de volgende activiteiten:

  • Sourcing van kandidaten: uitschrijven en plaatsen van lopende vacatures, het selecteren van talenten door gebruik te maken van dedicated CV platforms,
  • Contacteren van geselecteerde talenten,
  • Uitvoeren van een eerste sollicitatiegesprek (kandidatuur screening),
  • Opvolgen van een efficiënt recruitmentproces, met behulp van verschillende sollicitatiegesprekken ondersteund door business cases en referentie-controles,
  • Het bouwen en onderhouden van nauwe relaties met technische scholen en universiteiten, het bijwonen van jobbeurzen en forums,
  • Relevante informatie verstrekken betreffende sourcing en werving,
  • Zorgen voor relevante community management activiteiten (professionele netwerken en job boards) om nieuwe talenten aan te trekken.

Description du poste

Le gestionnaire comptable est garant du suivi des procédures de gestion.

En charge des cycles de facturation clients et fournisseurs, il (elle) assurera :

  • la création des commandes dans le système,
  • le contrôle des éléments de facturation (prix de vente, jours facturés…),
  • la facturation des clients et les relances,
  • l'encodage et le contrôle des factures fournisseurs,
  • l’imputation de l’analytique,
  • le suivi des validations et transmissions des factures aux prestataires dans le respect du planning,
  • le suivi des règlements fournisseurs,
  • le reporting hebdomadaire.

Le gestionnaire sera en charge de la gestion des voyages des salariés (transport, logement), du courrier ainsi que des appels entrants.

Le poste est évolutif et pourra être complété par tout candidat ayant envie d’apprendre et de se dépasser.

Profil recherché

  • Vous avez obtenu un Bachelor en comptabilité et disposez d’une expérience d’environ 5 ans (idéalement sur ERP),
  • Vous avez une très bonne connaissance du néerlandais, du français et de l’anglais,
  • Vous maitrisez les outils informatiques (Outlook, Excel, Word),
  • Vous êtes organisé et prenez des initiatives,
  • Rigoureux et analytique, vous aimez travailler de manière autonome et en équipe,

• You have a master degree in the Life Sciences: Bioscience engineering, engineer, biomedical studies, pharmaceutical studies or related studies
